Terms of Sale
Last updated: 24 May 2026
1. Who you are buying from
You are buying from Aurono Labs (KVK: 99807882, BTW-nr: NL005411946B42, registered at Linnaeuskade 19-1, 1098 BE Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Contact: info@auronolabs.com. These Terms of Sale apply to every purchase made through auronolabs.com.
2. The product
Aurono Start — Software license is a digital good: a signed AUR1.… token that unlocks live trading in Aurono Start on one device. The software itself (Aurono Start) is free to install and run in shadow mode forever; the license enables live exchange execution.
3. Price and VAT
The Software license is sold at €99 (one-time, no subscription). The price is inclusive of VAT at the rate applicable to your country of residence within the EU; the rate applied is shown in your confirmation email. The displayed price is the same for every EU buyer — we absorb the rate differences across EU member states ourselves. We charge and report VAT under the EU OSS (One-Stop-Shop) scheme. Your confirmation email contains the full order details — VAT amount and rate, our KVK number, and our BTW-id. If you need a formal BTW-invoice document (PDF with a sequential invoice number) for your records, reply to that email and we'll send one within 24h on a working day. We retain invoices for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law. Wave 1 sells to EU-27 countries only; buyers outside the EU should email info@auronolabs.com.
4. Payment
Payment is processed by Mollie B.V. (a Dutch payment institution regulated by De Nederlandsche Bank). You can pay by iDEAL, Bancontact, credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. We do not store card data or any payment instrument details — only the Mollie payment reference. See our Privacy Policy section 10 for how Mollie processes payment data.
5. Delivery
After payment, we email you a confirmation. You then reply with your device fingerprint (visible in Aurono Start: Settings → License → Copy fingerprint). We email back your AUR1.… license token typically within 24 hours on a working day. The token is delivered inline in the email body — there is no file to download. You paste it into Aurono Start: Settings → License → "Paste license key", and live trading unlocks. If more than 72 working hours pass without delivery, contact us using section 16 (Contact) below.
6. Right of withdrawal
Under EU Consumer Rights Directive Art. 16(m) (transposed into Dutch BW art. 6:230p sub g(2)), the right of withdrawal for digital goods lapses once delivery begins, provided you gave prior express consent and acknowledged that you lose this right. At checkout you tick a separate checkbox confirming both. The checkbox text reads: "I agree that delivery of my licence begins immediately and I understand that I lose my right of withdrawal once the licence is issued." Tick-by-default is not used. The acknowledgment is recorded server-side with a timestamp and your IP address as the audit trail for this waiver. See our Privacy Policy section 10 for the legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation) and retention.
This means: once we issue and email your AUR1.… license token, your purchase is final. There is no satisfaction-based right of withdrawal afterward.
7. Refund policy
We do not offer voluntary refunds. The product's free shadow mode is the trial: you have the opportunity to evaluate Aurono fully before deciding to pay. The €99 is a conscious decision, not an impulse buy. We refund only in these specific cases:
- A software bug on our side prevents you from activating the licence you paid for and we are unable to remedy it within a reasonable time (we target 14 days)
- Mollie payment dispute or chargeback handled under their merchant flow
- We are unable to deliver the license email after multiple delivery attempts
8. Your statutory rights as a consumer
Separately from our voluntary refund policy in section 7, you have statutory rights under Dutch law (Boek 7 Titel 1AA BW, art. 7:50aa et seq., implementing EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content) if the licence we deliver does not conform to the contract — for example, if it does not activate live trading on a supported exchange as described. In that case you can ask us to bring the licence into conformity, request a proportionate price reduction, or, if the non-conformity is significant, terminate the contract and receive a refund. These statutory rights cannot be waived. The voluntary refund policy in section 7 sits on top of these rights, not in place of them.
9. License terms
The licence is bound to one device fingerprint. You may transfer the licence to a different device of your own free of charge by emailing license@auronolabs.com with the new device fingerprint — we re-issue at no charge. The licence is granted to you for your own personal or household use, including small-business use as a sole trader. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the licence to third parties; this restriction reflects the device-bound nature of the licence and our obligation to maintain a clean ledger of active devices.
10. Vouchers
Every Software license purchase mints 3 single-use vouchers in your name. Each voucher gives a friend €15 off a Software license; the friend enters the voucher code at checkout to redeem. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from issuance, are non-transferable to anyone other than the original recipient, cannot be combined, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be used on your own future purchases. We may cancel vouchers where we have reasonable grounds to suspect they are being used fraudulently (for example, mass redemption, self-referrals, or use in violation of these terms). If we cancel a voucher, we will tell you why.
11. Age requirement
You must be 18 years or older to purchase an Aurono Start licence. This reflects EU consumer-protection rules and the onboarding rules of our supported exchange partners.
12. Trading risk
Aurono is a tool for executing trading rules that you define; it is not financial advice. Cryptocurrency trading involves significant risk, including the risk of losing the capital you allocate. Past performance, including any backtest results shown on this website, does not guarantee future results. See also Terms & Conditions section 3.
13. Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts. If you are an EU consumer, this clause does not affect your right under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis) to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
14. Online dispute resolution
If you are an EU consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute about your purchase between us, you can submit it to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You can also contact us directly at info@auronolabs.com.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms of Sale at any time. The most recent version applies to purchases made after its publication date. Past purchases remain governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.
