These terms and conditions govern your use of the Aurono website (auronolabs.com), operated by Aurono Labs (KVK 99807882, BTW-nr NL005411946B42, registered at Linnaeuskade 19-1, 1098 BE Amsterdam, the Netherlands; contact info@auronolabs.com). By accessing this website you agree to these terms. Separate Terms of Sale apply when you purchase an Aurono Start license. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal data.

2. Service description

Aurono Labs sells Aurono Start, a local-first crypto-trading execution product that runs on the user's own hardware. The website provides product information, a documentation site, a blog, and a webshop for purchasing Software licenses. A separate notification list (the "waitlist") is available specifically for buyers who want to be notified when the pre-built Aurono Start Device tier ships.

Subscribing to the Device notification list does not constitute a purchase, subscription, or binding agreement, and does not guarantee any particular ship date.

3. No investment advice and MiCA status

Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, trading, or tax advice. All information about trading strategies, backtest results, and product capabilities is provided for informational and illustrative purposes only.

Cryptocurrency trading involves significant risk. Past performance, including any backtest results shown on this website, does not guarantee future results. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

Aurono Labs is not a financial institution, broker, or investment advisor, and is not a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA). We do not custody crypto-assets, do not execute orders on our own account, and do not provide reception or transmission of orders on behalf of clients. The Aurono Start software runs on hardware you own and connects directly from your device to your own exchange account using API keys you generate yourself. We never see, hold, or move your funds.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website (auronolabs.com) — text, graphics, logos, images, and marketing material — is the property of Aurono Labs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without prior written permission.

The Aurono Start software is licensed separately under its own terms; see the Terms of Sale for the licence purchase, and (when published) the open-source-core licence terms in the software repository.

The Aurono name and logo are trademarks of Aurono Labs.

5. User responsibilities

When using this website, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when subscribing to the Device notification list or completing a purchase at /checkout
• Not attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the website
• Not use automated systems to submit multiple notification-list entries or fraudulent checkout requests
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Limitation of liability

This website and the waitlist are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Aurono Labs makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the website or its content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurono Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this website, reliance on any information provided, or your inability to access the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, (iii) gross negligence or intent (opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid), or (iv) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Dutch law.

This website may contain links to third-party websites or services — for example, our support documentation site, our blog, third-party exchanges (such as Bitvavo, Kraken, Coinbase), our payment partner Mollie, and other external sites we may reference. Aurono Labs is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

8. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will post material changes on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Any material changes to the Terms of Sale that apply to a purchase you have already made do not retroactively change that purchase — see Terms of Sale section 15 (Changes).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands. If you are an EU consumer, this clause does not affect your right under Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I bis) to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
