For developers

Open Core

Build it yourself.
Free

The Aurono execution engine is open source. Run it from the command line, wire up your own frontend, integrate it into your own tooling. No graphical interface, no installer, no support.

What’s included
  • Execution engine source
  • Strategy logic
  • Documentation

If you’re not sure whether Open Core is for you, it isn’t. Public source repo opens with Wave 2.

Support
€19 per question, or €149 for 10

Aurono works without support. But when something’s stuck and the docs don’t help, buy help by the question. Buy one when you need it, or grab a pack of 10 — same price as roughly eight singles — if you’d rather have some in reserve. No subscription. No expiry.

The Aurono promise

You pay for convenience, not for control.

Whatever tier you pick, these don’t change:

  • Your money stays on your exchange. Aurono reads market data and places orders with restricted API keys. It can never withdraw funds.
  • Your strategies stay on your device. We can’t see them, can’t change them, can’t revoke them.
  • No subscriptions. No forced upgrades. No behavior-based pricing. No hidden fees.
  • No lock-in. Stop using Aurono whenever you want. The exchange account is yours, the rules are yours, the history is yours.
How Aurono makes money

No subscriptions. No performance fees.

Two core revenue sources today: a one-time license and optional hardware.

Plus two paid extras we’re rolling out — personal onboarding (1 hour) and per-question support (single or 10-pack) — both one-off, no subscription on anything.

A third structural source is something we’d like to explore: whether exchanges would partner with us to share back a portion of the trading fees you already pay them. Whether that happens is up to them — your fees would not change either way.

EURC stablecoin payments fund the open-source side as a donation rail.

We earn when you buy a license, a device, or one of the extras. Not when you do nothing, and not from your data.

A bigger cost than you think

The quiet cost of the exchange you pick.

Most of the money a small-cap crypto user loses to fees isn’t the subscription on a trading bot — it’s the taker fee on the exchange the bot pushes them toward. At low retail volumes, Coinbase Advanced charges 1.20% per trade. Bitvavo charges 0.25%. Over a year of moderate activity, the difference is real money.

Aurono connects to Bitvavo, Kraken, and Coinbase. We don’t pick for you — but we do believe you should know what each one costs.

Looking ahead

A way to share strategies is coming.

We’re working on a way for people to publish and try each other’s strategies — transparent, rule-visible, you choose what to run. When it lands, it’ll be optional like everything else.
